Link Party Etiquette

Guidelines For Link Parties.

I love link parties. It is a great way to get exposure to your blog plus it offers you the chance to meet other bloggers and network.  Link parties are a great way to grow your blog.  When posting to a link parties there are some etiquette guidelines everyone should follow.   Here is a list of 6 link parties etiquette everyone should follow.

Etiquette #1  Don’t submit duplicate content.

Link parties is a great way to showcase your blog. Try to use a different blog post to show off your work.  Pick out your best blog post or a blog post your are trying to get reviews on. Your goal should be to grow your blog. Don’t use the same blog post on every link parties. Mix up  your blog post to give you reader a view of your quality work.

Etiquette  #2 Go with the Link Theme

This is a pet peeve of mines. If the party theme is about home DIY don’t post a theme about inspirational moments. That is like wearing shorts in a snow storm.  Follow the link party theme.

Etiquette  # 3 Visit other links.

Do not be one of those bloggers who use link parties as a drive by post hook up. Visit other links. Read them and comment on other links. Believe it or not they are trying to grow their blog too.

5 Ways To Save Money Without Coupons

This post does contain affiliate links. Pleas read my Disclaimer for more information.

Coupon-ing has become the biggest rage in how to save money. People are buying name brand product and saving money pennies on the dollar. If you are not like me then you are not a die hard coupon-er but you liking saving. Today I am going to give you 5 ways you can save money and not use one coupon.

1) Discount Grocery stores.

The grocery bill in my home is one of my biggest expense. To help save some money I shop at discount grocery or smaller big box stores. My hometown have an ALDI, Sav-A-Lot, Shopper Value and a Food Depot. I buy all of my poultry, ground turkey, produce, snacks and etc. from these discount grocery stores. Only time I shop at the big box stores such as Kroger, Walmart or Publix is when the smaller stores do not have what I need. For example my kids love the variety pack on chips. At Walmart and Kroger the price can range from $5.99 to $6.99. I can get some variety pack of chips at ALDI or Sav-A-Lot for about $3.99. The chips are not name brand chips and it is the store generic brand but they taste just as good.

2) Liquidation/Discount stores.

I love shopping at discount and liquidation stores. One of my favorite stores is called Roses. At Roses I have bought name brand clothes for half the price. If you have a Roses or an other liquidation store in your are you will be surprise at somethings you will find. At Roses I have bought Old Navy, The Children Place, The Gap and even JC Penny clothes. Trust me you want to go to these type of stores you will be amazed at how much money you can save.

3) Goodwill

Goodwill and thrift stores is another great place to save money. I know there are some people who do not like second hand stores. At my Goodwill they have brand new clothes that comes from my local Walmart and Target with the tags still on them.

4) Cash back sites.

Cash back sites have been one of my favorite ways to earn extra money. With a rebate program it will give you cash back for shopping. I do a lot of my kids school shopping on line because they have a good sale or a good clearance discount. When I do shop online I shop through EBATES. With EBATES I get cash back when I shop. I use that extra money toward Christmas, Summer Vacations and Family OUTING. Let me give a DISCLAIMER. YOU WILL NOT MAKE A SIX FIGURE SALARY WILL REBATES AND CASH BACK SITES.There are some sites and blogger that claim that you can make six figures for shopping for a small fee. It you come across that then RUN AWAY. Most sites offer a small percentage but not enough for you to make a living off of it.

5) Clearance and Off Season Items.

I do a lot of my school and holiday shopping off season. The reason why I do this is because some of the product are reduce by 50 to sometime 90 percent.  Shopping this way has allowed me to save a lot of money. Plus it help me to avoid some of the holiday rush. For example, my daughter school has just started. Every year we get a school supply. What I do is I buy the school supplies that she need for her current grade. Then I wait until stores start marking down their school supplies and I buy her school supplies for next year school.

I hope my tips will help you to save a little cash without couponing.

Pin Scheduling: Manual Pinning vs. Scheduling Pinning

This post does contain affiliate links. Pleas read my Disclaimer for more information.

Being a returning blogger I want to grow my blog.  I have read a lot of articles about how Pinterest has grown other bloggers blog and I just could not wait to dive in. The problem is there are so many bloggers that say manual pinning is better to grow their blog. Others swear by scheduling pinning. Well I am going to test both. For one month I am going to manual pin only and another month I am going to use a scheduling pinning site Tailwind. There are some things I am going to look for the next two months.

Growth.

I want to see which type of pinning will offer me the most growth on my Pinterest account as well as on my blog. In addition, compare which methods has cause my blog to have more viewers.

Flexibility

With me I need flexibility when scheduling my post. I going to see if manual pinning or scheduling pinning offer me flexibility.

To help with my manual pinning I purchase Carly Campbell book Pinteresting Strategies. I am going to document everything that I am doing in her book. Also  I will give updates on how her book have help or hurt the growth of my blog.

I will give weekly updates on blog growth using manual and scheduling pinning. I let you guys know which method has help me in my blog growth.

At the end of the two month study I will give a full review on which method is better and which method I recommend.

I am so excited and can’t wait to give my results. Tell me which methods you prefer when it comes to posting on Pinterest. Comment down below.
