Tips For Blogging Burnout

Blogging, Blogging TIps

When I decided that I wanted to start blogging I did not know how easily it can burn you out. I had blogging burnout with my blog due to not taking time for myself. I was burnout because I did not dedicate time for my blog or my family. Let me share with you some of the steps I have learn to prevent blogging burnout.

I have been incognito for awhile and I have a good reason. I had to rewind and sit back and think if I wanted the responsibility of running a blog. Plus working full-time, be a mom and a wife.  Running a blog takes a lot of work. It can get overwhelming and it requires a lot time to be honest that I did not want to give.

I saw myself so caught up in my blog that I missed out on a lot of things. Such as, not spending time with my kids and family.  I was trying so hard to have my blog to be my full-time income within 3 month.  I simply just got burn out and uninterested in doing my blog. It was  no longer fun but it was more like a chore. That is not the reason why I wanted to blog. I had to sit down and decide if this is something I wanted to do. Am I willing to put out good quality content but still had time for myself and my family along the way.

The first thing I learning is that blogging should be something I enjoy.

During my brief hiatus from blogging I learn a lot about myself and my goal for blogging.

  • The first thing I learning is that blogging should be something I enjoy. Blogging should not be a race to be rich within 2 or 3 months. I had to change my whole mind frame. Realize that outside of my blogging I am still a wife and mother. I am learning to pace myself. Such as having one good blog post a week but it is rich in content and it cause me to have returning readers.

  • The second thing I learn is to really write rich and thorough content that is engaging and that will allow me to have returning readers. Not to throw something out there and call it a day and hope for the best. Looking at some of my previous post I realize that my work was not the best but I am working on it to be a better.

  • Not to go from class to class or workshop to workshop trying to get quick result with my blog. Take one class or two and work that class until the end. Not blame the teacher of the class  for my blog not growing or being successful. Especially if I did not do the steps or the blueprint to have a successful blog.

Blocking Out Blog Time

This is something new for me. I never had a time set up where I just work on my blog. I just worked on my blog at a whim. Doing that cause miss not to blog on several days, weeks and months. I decide to do block time for my blog to make sure that I am doing something on my blog. If that is writing a post, posting on Pinterest or Facebook. Or posting in my Tailwind groups.

Tips To Prevent Blogging Burnout

  • Always make sure to take time out for yourself and your family. This is a hard lesson I had to learn. Self-Care for yourself is so important. I read  Stephanie post “Why Self-Care for Bloggers is Important” and she talk about the importance of self-care for a blogger you can read her here.
  • Blogging is not only can be a business but it has to be something you enjoy and be passionate about. Trust me starting a blog can be overwhelming but if you loose your passion for blogging or if blogging has become a chore. It is time to sit back and re-evaluate your reason for blogging.
  • Block out blogging time. This is so important. Blogging should not be a hobby if you are trying to make it a business. Blocking out time and dedicating it to your blog is a good way to ensure that your blog is getting the attention it needs.

Hopefully my mistake and tips will help you prevent blogging burnout. Help you on your journey has a blogger.

Simple Tips To Shopping At ALDI

Shopping

With the holidays approaching trying to save money and time while shopping is essential. I am going to give you some tips on how to have a smooth and easy shopping trip to ALDI.

The Essential For Shopping

If you never shopped at ALDI before then you are going to need a couple of things.

Bring your own bag.

ALDI does not offer free bags to bag up your items and you have to bring your own bag. I have gotten bags from the Dollar Tree and different places. You want to get a good, large, quality bag for your items because you will have to bag up your own things and take them to the car.

A Quarter

ALDI shopping cart or buggies (that is what us country folks call it) have a quarter system. In order to get a shopping cart, you have to insert a quarter. Once you are doing you bring the shopping cart back to the rack and you get your shopping cart back.

Open Mind

ALDI is not your normal grocery store. You will not see shelf stock full of products but you will see a box full of products. Which make it great because it helps save money and it is another way to get a box to put your products in.

The Buying Guide

At ALDI you will not get a lot of name brand products. However, you will get a lot of ALDI brand products which is just as good as the name brand.

ALDI is known for the gluten-free line and Organic Food. The ALDI Simply Natural organic line is very good and reasonable price. The live gFree gluten line is popular for their gluten shoppers and it is really good.

ALDI is the cheapest when it comes to milk and eggs. I love that because our family goes through a lot of milk and eggs.

Save Money

I have actually spent $100 dollars at ALDI and have fed my family of 4 for two weeks. If I am creative I can stretch it to three weeks. Check out Queen of Free website here and she has some great meal plans to save money while shopping at ALDI

I hope this helps you with your Holiday shopping at ALDI. I would love to hear how you save money during this Holiday Season.

Thanks for Stopping By

The Cookies

Blueberry Cheesecake:

I know the name alone sound crazy but let me tell you these are some good cookies. This recipe is so different that I have made these cookies quite a few times. My husband is really not the chocolate chip cookie can of guy so he absolutely love these cookies. Even though the name may fool you in thinking that it will take all day to make this cookies but you will be pleasantly surprise as how easy these cookies are to make.

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate  (flourless, no butter)

The only reason I tried these cookies because they have two of mu favorite ingredients peanut butter and chocolate. I am not a gluten free person but I am here to tell you that these are some of the moist and yummiest cookies I have ever eaten that does not use flour or butter. I hate oatmeal, I really do but these cookies right here had me eating them straight from the pan while still hot. Yeah they are that good. A Twist on Traditional Cookies

Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookies

Can you see the chocolate chip theme going here. Well any who, I made these cookies for my daughter class for Valentine Day and I have never seen so many little kids asking me for more of these cookies. Heck, I haven’t seen so many adults asking me for more of these cookies. What I love about this recipe that it is super duper easy and yes they are moist. I love a recipe where the prep time is not long because I am going to be honest with you if it take me more than 15 minutes to get the ingredient together I can guarantee you something is going to get left out. So that alone should make you want to try this recipe.
